Hi, I'm Laura. I document my way through the world of paper, ink, pens, and planners, and the soft, slow hobbies that come with them. Then I write it all down and talk about it. At length. ✶
I've been an analog person my whole life. The kid with the pen collection, the one who reorganized her stationery drawer for fun, the adult who still thinks a fresh notebook is a small event. analog laura is me finally giving that its own place.
I'm a research nerd and a lifelong learner, so I go deep: how an ink behaves, why a nib feels the way it does, what actually earns a spot on the desk. If I'm going to fuss over something, I'd rather fuss out loud and bring you with me.

i work with ink makers, pen brands, and paper companies. i swatch everything the same way in the same book with the same lighting, so a brand gets a real comparison against forty other inks instead of a one-off flat lay. if you make something worth writing with, send me a note.
